"Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at your cabin. It's a perfect cabin area and I wouldn't want anything more. I most definitely found what I was looking for."

Laura and Alexa from Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington
“Wow. This place was even better that we imagined. A great Place to celebrate my girlfriends successful thesis defense and to rejuvenate before heading back into the world after a holiday. It was just the right amount of time and space to feel rested. Thank you to our hosts for taking care of us and sharing their wonderful cabin. The Scotties and hot tub were added bonuses which brightened our days and we look forward to coming back in the future.”

Jordan and Jimmy from Astoria, Oregon
Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Everything here was to the tee, we couldn't have asked for more. We watched movies, played games, went hiking and snow tubing and then came back to the hot tub and cooked a meal here. We are sad to leave and also puzzled on the mice. A few logs back, someone suggested hints for next time - we agree. This was our first time here and Coni was so helpful with giving us ideas for things to do around here, whether it be good hiking trails or just a great place to grab a bite to eat. We will be back!

Ron and Chong from Mililani, Hawaii
"We enjoyed our stay in the cabin very much. Everything met our expectations. We had a great time hiking the trails and exploring the Mt. Hood area. It was a wonderful chang of pace from Hawaii. Thank you rou your hospitality.

Joshua from Roswell, Georgia

"Only got to stay in the cabin for two nights, but was well worth it. I wish that we had two weeks here there is so much to do we are on an 8 month road trip and have stayed in hotels every night. Wh have been on the road almost 4 months and this is by far one of the coolest places we have seen in the country. We did the whole Mt. Hood Loop. Lots of fun we hope to be back soon. Thank you so much for the hospitality."

Tim and Tara from Portland, Oregon
"We came to Hidden Woods at Aldercreek to escape and go "off the grid" for two days and we could not have
picked a better place. This cabin is what everyone must envision when they think of getting a place in the woods.
Everthing was fantastic, although we only found six mice and two bunnies."

Jim and Kim from Keizer, Oregon
"What a wonderful place to spend our 29th Anniversary. The grounds and cabin are just amazing.
So relaxing and enjoyable. Peaceful and a nice get away from it all. Each day it seems like we would
discover something different in the cabin. Our last night Jim just discovered the Peeing Scottie.
Haven't found all 7 mice as of yet so we will have to try within our next few hours a little harder before we leave."

Cindi and Bob from Portland, Oregon
"For those of you seeking an escape from the hectic pace of today"s
everyday world, look no further than this endlessly charming log cabin.
My husband an I have just returned from four simply perfect days of bliss,
tucked up in a snug and homey log cabin that harkens back to a simpler time. "

Kathy and Bill from Tualatin, Oregon
“Cathy and I thank you so much for a wonderful stay in the cabin and hope to come back again.
We did make it down to the river in the rain. We drove around Wemme
and the saw sites and the little shops were fun. Merry Christmas.”

Heather and Tom from Portland, Oregon
“Heather and I wanted to share our favorite memories (in no particular order):
-Toby and Tom feeding the trout together
-Stellar Jays at the window-Me “pickle barrel” story and all the beautiful woodwork in the main house
-All the cute Christmas Decorations throughout the cabin
-Sleeping in the glorious feather bed
-Playing scrabble by a roaring fire."

Bill and Kelly from Nashville, Tennessee
“It appears every descriptive known to man has been repeated over and over and rightly so.
There is no mistake in saying your combined efforts have truly created what benefits all who enter it.
The uniqueness of it lies in the fact that you are doing what I feel you were created to do.
It is obvious that the dominate gift here is hospitality.”

Shonda and Jeremiah from Salem, Oregon
“My husband and I have recently been married. He planned a surprise trip to the cabin. He told me her was taking me somewhere for my 30th birthday. He is an awesome planner. This cabin has been a resting place for us. We both love the great outdoors. It’s so nice to get away especially here. We plan to come back another time and stay three nights. The place is so cozy and the host is very hospitable. She encouraged us to use the hot tub and boy are we glad with did. The landscaping in the back near the hot tub is nicely done. We want to come back in the summer to have a BBQ and use the fire pit. Yesterday we slept in and then went to Timberline Lodge for lunch. The lunch buffet was excellent, cheese fondue. Yum! We headed for Trillium Lake and did some snowshoeing. I don’t think anyone has commented on the bathroom. I love the claw-foot bath tub. Love the décor in the bathroom, mirror, puzzles on the walls, wooden box on the wall. Oh and love the plush carpets in the kitchen and bedroom. My mom lives in IL and we hope to bring her out here sometime. We will recommend this place to family and friends.
P.S. We loved the plush red robes-so warm and cozy.”

Cathy and Larry from Manchester, New Hampshire
"The Alder Creek Cabin is one of the best we have ever stayed at. I must say it exceeded our expectations .The grounds, the accommodations, and the hosts were absolutely amazing. The private cabin was extremely clean and great attention to detail on the décor. The gardens on the property are outstanding. We were looking for a piece of heaven, and we found it here.Having your own private Jacuzzi and fire pit was just another piece of heaven. We left Alder Creek Cabin with big smiles and, feeling totally relaxed. We cannot wait to return and spend more time. Highly Recommended."

Chuck and Emily for Portland, Oregon
Only an hour from home, but such a relaxing retreat from the real world. We were hoping for a weekend of skiing and snowshoeing but found ourselves in a rainstorm, even up at Timberline. No matter it made the cozy atmosphere of the cabin that much more inviting and relaxing. I can't remember the last time I felt so calm after a weekend. Thank you for making us feel at home and for working hard to maintain this place. We loved it.

Matt, Lisa, and Greg from Orange N.S.W. Australia
A very long way from home and so delighted with such a wonderful cottage in the woods. Just like a fairytale. Matt and I leaving early so relying on Greg to find the elusive 7th mouse. Everything we could need here and definitely planning a return visit. We will share our discovery of this little piece of heaven with all our Aussie Friends and Family. Thanks again.

Enjoyed my 45th birthday here with friends. Great relaxing place. Loved the hot tub after a full day of hiking. Roaring fire at night and pleasant sleep. Definitely an amazing place that gave me wonderful memories of the west coast.
